The Typhi Dot IgG test measures the presence of IgG antibodies specific to *Salmonella typhi*, the bacterium responsible for typhoid fever. Elevated levels of IgG antibodies indicate a past infection or long-term exposure to *S. typhi*. This test is used to diagnose typhoid fever, particularly when there is a need to determine if a person has had a previous infection or to confirm a chronic carrier state. The presence of IgG antibodies suggests that the immune system has been exposed to *S. typhi* at some point, either through a past infection or possibly through vaccination.
We provide blood tests in Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Delhi, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, and Greater Noida Extension(west).
