Cryoglobulins

Cryoglobulins are abnormal proteins found in the blood that precipitate or clump together when exposed to cold temperatures and dissolve when warmed. These proteins can cause inflammation and blockages in blood vessels, leading to a condition known as cryoglobulinemia. Cryoglobulinemia can result in various symptoms, including skin rashes, joint pain, weakness, and damage to organs such as the kidneys and liver.
